We are pleased to announce that our reserch “Making Better Material for Fuel Cells” has been featured as the “Top Five University Articles” on the website of  U.S. Department of Energy (Click here).

Making Better Material for Fuel Cells” tells the story how UD researchers  made a catalyst of tungsten carbide to take the place of expensive platinum in conventional design. They produced tungsten carbide nanoparticles in a novel way, much smaller and more scalable than previous methods. This composite membrane may bring fuel cells a step closer to widespread commercialization.
